 Event Terms & Conditions Registration and Cancellation Policy The present terms and conditions apply to Tower Cranes North America (TCNA 2018), taking place on June 18 and 19, 2018 at the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, Miami, USA. 1. How to book Participants can buy places at TCNA 2018 at www.khl-tcna.com. Payment is made by bank transfer or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) as part of the registration process. No registration is effective until payment has been received and processed successfully. Fees paid by participants cover, as appropriate, admission to the TCNA 2018 welcome networking drinks held on June 18 and all the conference sessions, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference and farewell drinks held on June 19, 2018. 2. Confirmation of Registration An email confirmation of registration/acknowledgement of payment will be sent to each registrant upon receipt of payment together with an invoice. Delegates are asked to bring a copy of the confirmation. 3. Changes of participant Organisations/companies who have purchased places can change names of participants until May 18, 2018, free of charge. 4. Cancellation Policy - Cancellation by the participant Participants can cancel their registrations until May 18, 2018. Until that date, payments received by KHL will be refunded (limited to the amount paid by the participants), minus a fee of $50 to cover administrative and banking costs. Refunds will be handled after the event. In case of cancellation after May 18, 2018 or in case of no-show, no refunds will be made. 5. Cancellation Policy - Cancellation by the organiser If the organiser cancels the event for any reason other than force majeure, registration fees are refunded to registered participants. However, refunds are limited to the amount paid by the participants. The organiser is not liable for any other loss or expenses incurred by participants as a consequence of the cancellation. In the event that the TCNA 2018 would be cancelled, postponed or relocated on account of fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, decisions taken by the national and/or local authorities, weather conditions, strike, lock-out, labour disturbances, explosions, sabotage, accident, terrorism, war, acts of God or any other causes or casualties beyond the control of the organiser, no refund shall be made. Participants to the TCNA 2018 waive all claims for damages in this case. 6. Photographs and video footage By attending the TCNA 2018 event you are giving the organizer and its partner associations the right to use photographs and/or footage of you at the event, for marketing and promotional purposes, editorial coverage and on social media. If you are registering on behalf of others, you confirm that you have gained their consent for this aspect of the Terms & Conditions.
